Valentines Quilt Idea & Progress

Hi all!

Today I am sharing with you a quilt I've been working on this heart quilt.

I got the pattern/layout here from Blue elephant Stitches.

 

These charm packs my mom bought me at my local quilt shop in February 2014, so these babies have had 2 birthdays!!

My mom keeps telling me that my fabric shouldn't have too many birthdays (and a little known fact about my mom is that she has a TON of fabric that has had many, many birthdays)!

Ha! So I decided to sew up these 3 charm packs into this pixilated heart quilt.

 

 

Here it all is laid out. I ended up moving a few blocks around because of the color placement.

 

These blocks are charm squares so 5 inches square.
