Tooled Makeup Bag

Hi all! Today I'm sharing a tooled makeup bag I made for my mother in law for mother's day. 

I started out with some maroon tooled fabric that was given to me and used the tutorial by www.quiltingintherain.blogspot.com for a makeup bag. I used a black zipper this time around.
I quilted it using straight line quilting and black thread.

This make up bag turned out really cute and country-ish...fits my mother in law PERFECTLY!!

 

And I gave it to her early for Mother's day. She LOVES it!
