Hi All.
Today I am sharing with you a wood door hanger I made.
I bought the lumber (2-1 by 4's) at Lowes,
I bought the lumber (2-1 by 4's) at Lowes,
the wire and stain (walnut) I had on hand,
and the flower I bought from www.thewoodconnection.com
I started by cutting the 1x4s:
4- 22inches
2- 9 1/2 inches
I just laid them out as pictured above and secured them together with some nails.
Then I applied a layer of walnut stain and wiped it off with paper towels.
I drilled holes in the top and added a piece of wire for hanging.
And put a nail in the center to add a seasonal décor wood cut out.
I got this flower wood cut out from www.thewoodconnection.com
I love that store!
They have great décor items as well as GREAT prices.
Here's one last view. My wooden door holds this door hanger just fine.
It is a bit heavy I do have to say, but it is held up fine here and makes the door look pretty.
I plan to change out the flower with something else next month and in the months to come.
Happy crafting!
Very cute idea to change with the seasons!
