Apron

HI all!
Today I'm sharing with you an apron I made for myself.  :)

I just LOVE this fabric.
Here is a close up of the pockets.

This blue floral fabric is my FAVORITE!

I really like that this apron is double sided because that means the less chance I'll get food on me when cooking.
Here is the pattern I used.

And here is the story behind the apron.

This past summer I visited a friend in Nevada and we met at a quilt shop (we both quilt), and I saw this apron on display with the pattern and mentioned how cute it was.   I decided not to buy it because I have wayyy too many projects going on.

Well a couple of months passed and I got a package in the mail with two yads of fabric, a pattern, and this note.

How SWEET is my friend?! LOVE her! We've been friends since the 5th grade! And no matter where we move, how many babies we have had, we always, always keep in touch.

And what a great friend of her to make my day!
